Blake Giles, 2018-2019 senior of significance.

Blake Giles, an electrical engineering major from Edmond, Oklahoma, has been selected as a 2018-2019 senior of significance. The award recognizes students who have excelled in scholarship, leadership and service to campus and community and have brought distinction to OSU.

During his time at OSU, Giles has served on the Student Government Association Executive Cabinet as a coordinator of the Freshman Representative Council, and currently serves as president of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.

He is a member of the CEAT Scholars program, CEAT Student Council, Mortar Board Honor Society, and the Student Alumni Board.

After graduation he has accepted a full-time position with Microsoft as a Secure Infrastructure Consultant within the Microsoft Academy for College Hires (MACH) program.

He would like to thank Dr. Paul Tikalsky, Dr. Gary Yen, and Ival Gregory for recommending him for this award, as well as all of the friends and family who have supported him along the way.
