Dr. Vignesh Rajamani Named Vice President of Member Services for the IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility Society

ECE welcomes Dr. Guo

Dr. Yuanxiong (Richard) Guo received the B.Eng. degree in electronics and information engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China 2009, and the M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA in 2012 and 2014, respectively.

ECE welcomes Dr. Ekneligoda

ECE is very happy to welcome Dr Nishantha Ekneligoda to our faculty. Dr Ekneligoda is an assistant professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at OSU. He was born in Sri Lanka, and completed his B.S. and M.S. degrees at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. He also has completed a M.S.

ECE welcomes Dr. Kak

Dr. Subhash Kak

ECE is very happy to welcome Dr Subhash Kak to our faculty. Dr Kak is Regents Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at OSU. Born in Srinagar, Kashmir, he was educated at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. His current research is in cybersecurity, information theory, quantum computing, sensor networks, and archaeoastronomy.

ECE Professors Help OSU Garner CUDA Teaching Center Designation

Oklahoma State University has been recently named a CUDA® Teaching Center by NVIDIA, the world leader in visual computing. The designation was granted in response to a proposal submitted by Professors Damon M. Chandler and Keith A. Teague from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE).

Dr. Weili Zhang, Professor of Electrical Engineering, recently received the 2014 Research Excellence Award from the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology. Dr. Zhang joined the faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2002.

Please join ECE in congratulating Dr. Dan Grischkowsky. His paper "Far-infrared time-domain spectroscopy with terahertz beams of dielectrics and semiconductors," has appeared second on the list of most cited papers ever in the Journal of the Optical Society of America B.
