Condolences on the passing of Narges Nourian
"We, the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, are deeply saddened by the recent death of one of our Graduate students, Narges Nourian. Although I did not have the opportunity to know Ms. Nourian, I have been told of her wonderful attributes as a person and as a student. She has been described to me as a student of excellence with a warm and friendly personality. She was a very productive scholar on Dr. Fan’s research team and showed strong commitment to her research and to interdisciplinary team effort. Ms. Nourian set the example of the quintessential graduate student.
Ms. Nourian was on the verge of graduation with a very promising career ahead of her. There is no question in my mind that she would have been one of the many scholars who graduate from OSU with the skills, ability and education to make a positive difference in our communities and profession. She will be missed by both her fellow students and by the faculty and staff of the School.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends."
